Swapping Life for Death


Dazed days...
derelict hopes...
the viral villainy is on an upward spiral
unseen the Gods are condescending…
even as the unknown microbe wanders the Earth
ghost-like!

There seems to be an exit route
until then…
vaccinate yourself against losing hope

as corpses are being laid down
scientists are trying to get on top of it
scoffing at the virus
that is riding on cough as its vehicle
the bug will die with prayers in its lips
vowing not to meddle with humanity again
a jab that gets done
will swap life for death!
